The DC Timer adds precision timing control and flexibility to the GooseBuster operating schedule. The
GooseBuster comes standard with an AC Timer.
This DC Timer is for applications where plug-in electricity is unavailable and the device is powered by a solar panel and 12v DC batteries. The compact 24-hour dial has 15-minute intervals with AM/PM indications, and creates a cycle that repeats daily. This true close face makes the unit extremely easy to set. This unit also features a synchronous drive or quartz drive with battery backup and a 3-way manual switch override. Noise immune ideal for robust applications.
For use with a the 5-Watt or 20-Watt Solar Panel and 12v DC batteries. Ideally, the GooseBuster should run for 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours at dusk. If you intend to run the device more frequently, or have a condition without good direct sunlight you may need a 20-Watt Solar Panel, both sold as options in the drop down menu above.
Note:You must purchase a 12v battery in order to utilize the solar panel. The panel can only charges the battery it cannot power the electronic device directly. A deep cycle, marine type battery is recommended. Purchase batteries locally.

Solar Panel Info & Specs:
Solar panels converts sunlight into electricity and charges 12v batteries for DC (direct current) appliances, including many Bird-X electronic/sonic devices: BirdXPeller PRO, WoodPecker PRO, and other single-speaker devices.
Wired sequentially and conducts the electricity to the batteries. The electricity is then used directly from the batteries, to power DC (direct current) appliances from the 12v DC Batteries. Both panels backed by a 6-Month manufacturer's warranty against material defects.
